Ed Rush & Optical founded Virus Recordings in 1997 to provide a home for their unique sound of drum & bass. Both artists are internationally known for their work as producers and djs, with numerous releases in the genre under their belts. Virus has become synonymous with high quality production and originality and is regarded as one of the top labels in the scene. Ed & Optical have had 5 previous LP and many singles and remixes on the label including the all-time 'Wormhole' LP and tracks such as 'Bacteria' and 'Pacman' to name a few. 'Travel the Galaxy' heralds a return to their early sound, fused with year 3000 future beats and razor sharp bass.
